From a movement of resistance to a mighty political force — the story of Tamil Nadu's Liberation Panthers.

Home About

The Liberation Panthers

Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) — the Liberation Panthers Party — is Tamil Nadu's foremost Dalit political party. Its name translates to "Liberation Panther" — a powerful symbol of strength, resistance, and freedom.

Founded on the ideals of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the party stands as the strongest voice against caste-based discrimination and for the political empowerment of Tamil Nadu's most marginalised communities.

VCK unites Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, and religious minorities under a single banner of dignity, equality, and justice.

"சாதி ஒழிப்பே நம் இலக்கு; சமத்துவமே நம் பாதை."

— Abolition of caste is our goal; equality is our path.
