திண்டிவனம் தொகுதியில் இனநாயக முற்போக்கு கூட்டணியின் சார்பில் விடுதலை சிறுத்தைகள் கட்சியின் வேட்பாளராக களமிறங்குகிறார் வன்னி அரசு. விடுதலை சிறுத்தைகள் கட்சியின் துணைத் பொதுச் செயலாளராக மக்களின் குரலுக்கு குரல்கொடுப்பதும் மக்களின் குரல் பிரதிநிதித்துவப்படுத்துவதும் வன்னி அரசுக்கு புதிதில்லை. அது அவரது வாழ்வியல் நெறி.

Vanni Arasu began his journey for people's welfare and political struggle in 1990. As a grassroots activist, he was at the front lines of the protest against the central government's anti-Dalit Mandal agitation at the Madurai airport in 1994 — when he was just 24 years old. That single protest marked the beginning of a life of countless struggles for his people.

A fearless ground-level leader, he has fought against caste atrocities and gender violence, approached courts multiple times to prove his innocence, and won justice — not just for himself but for 13 others falsely imprisoned in one case. A champion for social equality, he stands firmly against communal violence as well.
